Dinners & Other Adventures

1

Monthly Dinners

Once a month, we grab reservations at fun restaurants throughout Fairfield County. Reservations are sent out via email monthly. Individuals sign up for any dinner that fits with their schedule.

Dinners are small groups (5-6 people). We start with getting to know each other and, if needed, leverage suggested prompts modeled after Life over Dinner and Make Big Talk, like "What is bringing you joy right now and why?" Then we see where the convo takes us.

Some examples of dinner hot spots we've been to include CasaMe, Don Memo, Artisan, Bonda, Taproot, and so many more!

Book Club

Member-led, monthly book club!

These are recurring gatherings where we can come together, unwind, and build relationships through our shared love of stories.

This club uses a rotating responsibility system so that everyone contributes to keeping things fun, fresh, and moving forward.

Monthly meet ups rotate locations and books based on member hosts.

Additional Activities

In addition to the monthly dinners, we'll plan a variety of other gatherings for individuals to meet, share stories, and connect in larger groups.

Activities will be shared via email and WhatsApp and may include things like moms night out, morning beach walks + coffee , weekend Pop up bagels on the beach with families, date night events, group fitness activities, and more.

As a member-led program, we often look to our own members who have ideas that leverage their own passions like coordinating a backyard bootcamp.

(p.s. Couples night out Pickleball is definitely a fan favorite!)

“We are such a fast-food culture, I love the idea of making the dinner last for hours. These are the conversations that will help us to evolve and reconnect.”

 - Arianna Huffington

Why Monthly Dinners?

I dare you share a delicious meal with other women who are showing up for the same reasons and not leave with a full heart.

You don't have to look far to find evidence that cultures all around the world look to communal meals as a place to connect and reconnect. When we slow down and enjoy the presence of others, we find

Dinners allow space for lots of conversation ranging from the more serious and vulnerable hardships in our lives to hilarious and self-deprecating stories that make us laugh until we cry. I firmly believe that we all want in on this. We all want connection. But most of us are just waiting to be invited.

Can't make it every month? No worries at all. Come when you can. As busy moms, we all understand your availability will ebb and flow. But your community of support will always be here.
